WHO WE ARE?

EminOur chief instructor Emin Osmani has more than 20 years of experience in martial arts. Since an early age he started training sports karate and kick boxing. In the late 90’s Sensei Osmani started training under Sensei Bejar Fazliu in Traditional Shotokan Karate. Sensei Fazliu instilled the inspiration and persistency in Sensei Osmani’s point of view toward martial arts. For 7 years Sensei Osmani trained under personal tutoring of Sensei Fazliu, and trainings went well. There were days that trainings went for 5-6 hours a day, and 6 days a week.

Eventually Sensei Osmani became assistant of sensei Fazliu. In 2005 Sensei Fazliu was invited to teach and start his PhD in US. Shortly after this Sensei Osmani started to train grappling in UN Grappling Gym and was in quest for a martial arts style that would incorporate all aspects of martial arts.
Luckily Sensei Osmani got acquainted with Sensei Lars Andersen, who was serving in Kosova within UN. Shortly afterwards there were four trainings being held in the Sensei Osmani’s dojo. It was for  Sensei Osmani not  only a  great introduction to a great  teacher but an introduction to the kind  of  karate  he  always  knew  was  out  there,  but  was  not  fortunate enough  to meet until  now.

Focused goal orientated hard and soft trainings, four times  a week  between 1.5-3 hours  at  a time, sensei Osmani  has   had  an introduction  to  isshinryu that  many  a karateka  could  only  dream  about; not  only from  an expert  practitioner but from an extremely knowledgeable inquisitive humble researcher and teacher. The breakdown of the applications is explained in a simple, clear, effective manner. Not only answering theoretically the question asked but demonstrating practically the answer without hesitation about kata, uchi waza, uke waza, nage waza, ne waza, tegumi, Kenasetsu waza, tuite waza, shime waza, gyaku waza or whatever other waza .

Ultimately it is Sensei Osmani’s goal to use Martial Arts as a medium to teach about lifelong learning and self improvement.
